Presentation Description: The rise of artificial intelligence (AI) has initiated a strong growth of processing power in data centers. AI server racks will rise to higher power levels reaching > 300kW. This dictates new architectural changes in datacenters racks AC and DC distribution to accommodate the significantly higher currents and to reduce conversion and distribution power losses from the power grid to core. This talk will provide an overview of trends and power evolution of PSUs for AI servers, with example implementation to meet the significant rise in power and density. Final presentation will include more details on the server rack architecture in addition to experimental results of these solutions.
