Presentation Description: This paper details the controller design, modeling, and validation of a Flyback power supply system based on an enhanced Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control technique capable of excellent output voltage regulation and very high efficiency across a wide range of input line and output load conditions. The controller consists of an off-time and peak current modulator, which allows varying the converter’s switching frequency as a function of its output load for high performance. The simplicity and flexibility of the design allow for seamless integration into power systems up to 300 W.
