Presentation Description: This presentation introduces a surface mount top-side cooled package PSMT and compares PSMT with TO247-3 and D2Pak. The comparison highlights the benefits of PSMT from different perspectives ranging from assembly, electrical, to thermal. Additionally, other features of PSMT are discussed to provide guidance for power electronics engineers in selecting power devices.
