Presentation Description: ABSTRACT This paper discusses an enhanced Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) control technique that delivers very high efficiency across a wide range of input lines and loads. This approach sets a new industry standard for reducing consumption in standby, achieving exceptionally high efficiency below 1 W input. Additional features improve transient response and avoid the problems caused by the bandwidth limitations encountered when using conventional optocouplers in the feedback loop. The simplicity and flexibility of the design allow for seamless integration into power systems from 10 W to over 200 W. This paper details the innovative aspects of this new approach and demonstrates its potential to fully optimize power supply designs through enhanced efficiency and flexibility.
