A modular-based and series-connected partial power converter (S-PPC) using an interleaved switched-inductor series-input-parallel-output (SIPO) structure is proposed. Each module is a dual active clamped flyback-derived (DACF) bidirectional DC-DC converter without output capacitor. A 2.4kW, 800V / 600V prototype with the efficiency of 98.79% has been built and evaluated. The experimental results are favorably compared with theoretical predictions.
