This paper proposes a design method and control scheme for an 11 kW 2-stage wireless charging system using a double-sided LCC (DLCC) network, considering a wide misalignment and battery voltage range. The proposed design method and control scheme fully utilize the resonance characteristics of the compensation network to achieve the battery charging profile only through GA-side control within a limited frequency range. Based on the formula analysis of the DLCC network, the design process is described first. Subsequently, a control algorithm to satisfy the battery charging profile is proposed based on the design results. Finally, a loss analysis is performed, and a prototype is constructed to verify the proposed method through experiments.
