This paper presents a high-power planar transformer design tailored for four-port converters. A multi-winding transformer is preferred over multiple two-winding transformers due to its compactness, enhanced capacity utilization, and flexibility in power management. The proposed design minimizes core loss and leakage inductance through a winding interleaving technique. The performance of this design is validated through magnetic simulations using ANSYS Maxwell and laboratory experiments in this paper.
