Join us at our upcoming exhibitor seminar, where we will explore the advantages of integrated Gallium Nitride (GaN) solutions for auxiliary power supplies and charger converters. Our presentation will feature two cutting-edge solutions. The first is an 80 W Quasi-Resonant (QR) Flyback converter with an impressive 94% efficiency, designed for operation in a sealed enclosure without the need for fans or heatsinks. We will present detailed thermal data to demonstrate the effectiveness of this design.
The second solution highlights a new active clamp controller, paired with an integrated GaN System-in-Package (SiP) featuring 650 V Half Bridge GaN transistors. This solution utilizes a non-complementary modulation strategy and we will discuss its advantages and showcase experimental results from a 65 W demo board. The GaN-based solutions show great promise from both technical and economic perspectives for various charger applications. In fact, the overall system efficiency and performance have been significantly improved with respect to silicon (Si) solutions with the new GaN-based designs. Join us to explore these innovative solutions and their potential impact on your designs.
