Meeting rising power demands is a known challenge for our industry. Consequently, the shift to 1500 V DC bus architectures is a necessary trend to solve the need for more power in limited spaces. However, this trend presents challenges, such as the reliability of inverters in solar and energy storage systems. In this presentation we will present how silicon carbide can enable solar, energy storage, and megawatt fast-charging companies to maximize performance and lifespan while reducing BoM, production and maintenance costs.
