Youssef A. Fahmy (Student Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. degree in Physics from Brandeis University, Waltham, MA, and the B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, jointly in 2020, and the M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, New York, NY in 2022. He is currently a PhD student at Columbia University in the Power Electronics and Motor Drives Laboratory under Professor Matthias Preindl. He was a researcher at the Fraden MRSEC Group, Brandeis University from 2017-2018. His research interests include power electronics controls, electric vehicles, and air-core magnetics.
