Dr. Namwon Kim received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from Changwon National University, South Korea, in 2010 and 2012, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, USA, in 2022. He is an R&D Associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. His research interests include design and control of power electronic converters in the applications of renewable energy, energy storage, microgrid, and EV chargers.
