SHRAF ELDIN SATI received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical power systems from the Sudan and Khartoum Universities, Khartoum, in 2012 and 2018, respectively. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in electrical power systems at Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, UAE. From 2012 to 2013, he was a part-time Teaching Assistant at Sudan University. Since 2013, he has been a real-time power system engineer and energy management system engineer at the National Load Dispatch Center. His research interests include economic operation, Microgrid stability, frequency control, and virtual synchronous generators. SHRAF has 10+ years of leading real-time power system operation at the National Load Dispatch Center, paired with a PhD in Electrical Engineering focused on inverter-based renewable energy systems for frequency control. This combination equips him to solve tomorrow’s energy challenges, ensuring sustainable and reliable power systems solutions.
