Hua Chen is a PhD student at Georgia Institute of Technology, specializing in efficient power delivery for microcontrollers. After obtaining bachelor’s and master’s degrees both in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech, Hua decided to work for L3Harris Technologies and Northrop Grumman Corporation implementing both board-level and chip-level industrial power converters, respectively between 2019-2021. His current PhD research is to explore hybrid converter topology and system designs, a merging field for future power conversion in datacenter applications and autonomous driving vehicles.
