Cheng Huang received the Ph.D. degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong, China, in 2014. He joined the Department of Electrical and Computing Engineering in Iowa State University (ISU), Ames, Iowa, in 2018, where he is currently a Harpole-Pentair Assistant Professor. Before joining ISU, he was with Broadcom, San Jose, California, as a Staff Scientist developing power management and analog ICs. His work focuses on different types of power management integrated circuits. He is currently serving as the power management technical program sub-committee co-chair for CICC, and a TPC member for the ASP sub-committee of the IEEE CAS society. He served as an Associate Editor of TCAS-II 2020-2023, as a Guest Editor of SSC-L in 2023, and as a track chair of ISCAS 2022 and MWSCAS 2021. He received the NSF CAREER Award and the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society Outstanding Reviewer Award in 2024, and the Harpole-Pentair Young Faculty Award in 2023.
