Dr. Regina Ramos, assistant professor at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain, received a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2014, an M.Sc. degree in Industrial Electronics in 2016 at UPM, and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics from UPM (2021).
She has been working in the area of power electronics since 2014. During these years she has been collaborating on several projects focusing her efforts, among other topics, on the development of three-phase rectifiers for more electric aircraft, space applications, high-density power converters for PV applications, and wireless power transfer for health care.
Subsequently, she has expanded her field of expertise by working in close collaboration with high-impact companies not only at national level but also international companies as well as publicly funded national and European projects. Currently, her work is focused on the development of advanced control algorithms for power converters.
