Fanfan Lin received her bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a minor in English language and literature from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2018. She later pursued a joint Ph.D. with interdisciplinary research in power electronics and artificial intelligence (AI) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and the Technical University of Denmark, Kongens Lyngby, Denmark, completing her degree in 2023. As an entrepreneur, she founded an AI startup in Singapore (2022–2023) and was part of the Sequoia Capital (Southeast Asia) Spark Fellowship Program. Her research interests include power converter design with AI, life cycle management, and responsible AI for electrical engineering. Dr. Lin was honored as the sole recipient of the 2023 NTU Graduate College Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award and received the Second Prize Paper Award from the IEEE Industry Applications Society in 2022.
