Ching-Yao Liu received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in mechanical engineering from National Yang-Ming Chiao-Tung University, Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 2018 ,and 2021, where he is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree with power electronics.
He is currently a visiting scholar with Future Energy Electronics Center, Virginia Tech. His research interests include the design of high frequency short pulse laser driver, driving circuits for both cascode GaN HEMT and Direct-Drive D-mode GaN HEMT, and the characterization, paralleling and applications in wide-bandgap power devices.
