Youssof Fassi is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at CEA, focusing on predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and physics-informed AI for power converters. In 2024, he was a visiting Ph.D. student at Aalborg University, Denmark, where he worked on AI-enabled condition monitoring of power converters. He holds an M.Sc. in Aerospace Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, USA (2022), and an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from INSA Lyon, France (2022). His research lies at the intersection of artificial intelligence, physics-based modeling, and optimization. Previously, he contributed to neural network-based online hazard detection for planetary landing missions sponsored by NASA and the design of space logistics systems.
