Gleisson Balen is pursuing his Ph.D. at the University of Oviedo, Spain, in power electronics and control of MG with renewable resources. In 2024, he did an internship at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK. He received his B.S. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from the Federal University of Santa Maria, Brazil, in 2015 and 2017, with a one-year internship at Concordia University, Canada, working with a DC fast-charge station for EVs. His areas of interest include power electronics, control, MGs, batteries, and EVs.
