Simone Giuffrida

Simone Giuffrida received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the Politecnico di Torino, Turin, Italy, in 2020 and 2022 respectively. In 2022, he joined the Power Electronics Innovation Center, Politecnico di Torino, as a Ph.D. student, where he is currently working on power electronics converter design for traction applications using WBG devices. In 2024, he was a Visiting Researcher with the Power Electronic Systems Laboratory, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich, Switzerland. His main research interests include traction inverters, high-power AC/DC and DC/DC converters, WBG devices, and high-frequency magnetics.
