Md Tariquzzaman (Graduate Student Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, Khulna, Bangladesh, in 2016 and 2019, respectively. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Energy Systems Group, Oregon State University (OSU), Corvallis, OR, USA. He joined as a Lecturer with the Department of EEE, Jashore University of Science and Technology, Jashore, Bangladesh, in 2017, and subsequently as an Assistant Professor. His research interests include power electronics converter control, motor drives, and renewable energy integration.
Mr. Tariquzzaman received university merit-based scholarships and achieved three times Dean’s List Award during his undergraduate study. He received the IEEE ECCE Conference Student Travel Award in 2023 and the DOE ARPA-E SUMMIT Fellowship in 2024. He has been serving as the Vice President of IEEE PELS/PES Student Chapter at OSU since May 2023.
