Hualong Liu

Hualong Liu is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, USA. He received the bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and automation from Chongqing University, Chongqing, China, and the master's degree in electrical engineering from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China. He previously worked as a full-time Electrical Engineer at the Electric Power Bureau of Zigong, Electric Power Company of Sichuan, State Grid Corporation of China, for three years, and as a full-time Electrical Engineer at the Nan’an Branch of Chongqing Electric Power Company, State Grid Corporation of China, for four years. His research interests include, but are not limited to, power system/integrated energy system planning, operation, and control, renewable energy integration, energy storage, energy markets, cyber-physical systems; optimization, operations research, artificial intelligence/machine learning, quantum computing, and their applications in power/energy engineering, power electronics, and transportation electrification; systems science, complex network, robotics, autonomous driving, and computer vision.
