Ivan Z. Petric (Member, IEEE) was born in Belgrade, Serbia, in 1994. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from the University
of Belgrade, Belgrade, in 2017 and 2018, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Padova, Padova, Italy, in 2023.
From 2018 to 2019, he was a Researcher with the Power Electronics, Machines and Control Group, The University of Nottingham, Nottingham, U.K. In 2022,
he was a Visiting Researcher with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, University of California, Berkeley, CA, USA. His research interests include modeling and control of power converters, advanced modulation strategies, and grid-connected converters for renewable energy sources and smart microgrids.
