Alessandro Bertolini joined STMicroelectronics in 2017 as part of the R&D team. He is currently a Senior IC Design Engineer and a member of the Technical Staff, specializing in architecting custom power-management ICs. His contributions to ST include advancements in PLL, clocking techniques, and precision analog circuits. Alessandro authored several patents, conference papers, and journal articles. He also serves as an Associate Editor of the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON CIRCUITS AND SYSTEMS—II: EXPRESS BRIEFS. An IEEE Member, he received his M.S. degree in Electronics Engineering in 2016. He conducted his master's thesis research at Columbia University in New York, USA, within the Columbia Integrated Systems Laboratory, focusing on time-based techniques for designing analog/mixed-signal ICs with ultra-reduced supply.
