Koji Yamaguchi, PhD (he/him/his)

I am Koji Yamaguchi, Ph.D., and I currently serve as a Manager at IHI Corporation. I received my B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Chiba University, Chiba, Japan, in 2000, 2002, and 2019, respectively. From 2002 to 2006, I developed power electronic systems for hybrid and electric vehicles at Hitachi Ltd., Japan. Since 2010, I have been working as a research associate at IHI Corporation, Japan. My main research interests include high power density power converters and gate drivers for wide band-gap power devices. I am a Professional Engineer Japan (Electrical & Electronics Engineering) and a member of IEEE and IEEJ. Through my research, I aim to enhance the efficiency and performance of modern power electronic systems.
