Dr. Hongjie Wang is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer at Utah State University (USU), Logan, Utah, USA. At USU, Dr. Wang serves as the co-director of the UPEL. He is also a faculty member in the NSF Engineering Research Center of Advancing Sustainability through Powered Infrastructure for Roadway Electrification (NSF ASPIRE ERC), where he leads the Charging Stations of the Future development. Dr. Wang has co-authored more than 80 peer-reviewed articles, has 10 issued patents, and was a recipient of the National Science Foundation Career Award in 2023. His research interests include DC power distribution, resonant converters, dynamic wireless power transfer, extreme fast charging, health monitoring and diagnosis of power converters, second-life battery and battery management systems, and grid interface power converters.
