Alper Uzum earned his bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Bursa Technical University in January 2022. He then worked as a part-time researcher at a startup in his home country for two years. Since May 2022, he has been pursuing a Ph.D. at The University of Akron, where he also serves as a research assistant, focusing on Power Electronic Converters and Wide-Bandgap Devices.
