Jiangang Hu (SM’15) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 1997 and 2000, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH, USA, in 2007. He is currently working as a Principal Engineer with the Intelligent Devices, Rockwell Automation, Mequon, WI, USA. His research interests include high performance variable speed drives, AI/Machine learning for variable speed drive applications, high-resistance grounding system, industrial switch-mode power supply, high-speed integrated starter/generator for aerospace, and sliding mode control applications.
