Masoud Karimi-Ghartemani, Fellow IEEE, Professor, Mississippi State University
Dr. Karimi received his PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) from the University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in 2004. From 2005 to 2008, he was a Faculty Member with the ECE Department at Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran. From 2008 to 2011, he was a member of the ePOWER Laboratory, at Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario. Since 2012, he has been with the ECE Department at Mississippi State University (MSU), MS, USA, where he is currently a Professor. His research interests include modeling and control of distributed and renewable energy systems. Dr. Karimi won the 2020 Faculty Research Award at MSU's Bagley College of Engineering. He is an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Sustainable Energy, and IEEE Power Engineering Letters. Dr. Karimi is a Fellow of IEEE.”
