Youssef Kandeel received the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in electrical engineering from Tanta University, Egypt, in 2009, the Master's degree in electrical engineering from Aswan University, Egypt, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Galway, Ireland, in 2022.
Currently, Youssef is a Research Engineer at Tyndall National Institute, Cork, Ireland. His work focuses on developing silicon and PCB substrate-embedded magnetics for power electronics applications. His research interests encompass DC-DC converter circuit topologies, magnetics design for manufacturing, magnetics characterization, and magnetic materials.
