He received the Laurea (summa cum laude) and Ph.D. degrees in electronic engineering from the Politecnico di Torino, Turin, Italy, in 2000 and 2003, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications (DET), Politecnico di Torino, Turin where he leads a research group in Analog, Mixed-Signal and Power microelectronics with several international collaborations and teaches courses on basic and automotive electronics. He has co-authored more than 110 papers appearing in journals and international conference proceedings. In 2009 and in 2019 he was co-recipient of the Excellent Paper Award of the EMC'09 Kyoto Symposium and of the Best Student Paper Award of the International Symposium of Circuits and Systems ICECS 2019. His main research interests are in the fields integrated circuit design and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). His recent research activities are focused on non-conventional digital-based information processing techniques and ultra-low-voltage, ultra-low-power IC design for the Internet of Things. Prof. Crovetti is a co-recipient of the Gold Leaf Prize (Top 10\% Papers) at the 18th International Conference on PhD Research in Microelectronics and Electronics (PRIME) in 2023, of the Best Student Paper Award at the 26th IEEE International Conference on Electronics Circuits and Systems (ICECS) in 2018 and of the Excelent Paper Award at the 2009 International Symposium on EMC, Kyoto. Prof. Crovetti serves as the Editor-in-Chief of IET Electronics Letters and as a Senior Associate Editor of the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON CIRCUITS AND SYSTEMS - Part I Regular Papers and of the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON VERY LARGE SCALE OF INTEGRATION and is the co-Chair of the EMC Society Italy Chapter.
