Jonas Huber (S’11–M’16–SM’22) received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zürich, Switzerland, in 2012 and 2016, respectively. Since 2012, he has been with the Power Electronic Systems Laboratory, ETH Zürich; since 2016 as a Postdoctoral Researcher. Since 2017, he has gained industry experience as a Power Electronics R&D Engineer at ABB Switzerland, working on high-power dc-dc converter systems for traction applications. Then, in 2020, he returned to the Power Electronic Systems Laboratory as a Senior Researcher. Since summer 2024, he leads the Advanced Mechatronic Systems Group at ETH Zürich. His research interests include solid-state transformers, motor drives, and all types of ultra-compact, ultra-efficient or highly dynamic converter and mechatronic systems. He has authored and/or coauthored more than 70 journal and conference papers and a book chapter, has filed more than 10 patents, and has presented more than 10 educational seminars at leading international conferences.
