Matt Catanoso is currently a Student Naval Aviator in the United States Marine Corps. He received a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the United States Naval Academy in 2022. He then recieved a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 2023, where he contributed to this research as a member of the MicroSensors and MicroActuators (MSMA) research group under Dr. Mark Allen. Following his studies, he reported for military training in Quantico, Virginia and later Pensacola, Florida to fly the T-6 Texan II. Matt hopes to use his research experience to contirubte to the field of test and evaluation for aircraft development.
