Sébastien Vinnac, Ingénieur 3EA from ENSEEIHT, holder of a Mastère Spécialisé in Embedded Systems from ISAE-Supaero, and R&T Power Electronics Engineer at I-Cube Research Toulouse. Over the past 16 years, I have focused on designing, testing, and optimizing power converters, primarily using wide-bandgap semiconductors such as GaN and SiC for enhanced efficiency and reliability. My current work emphasizes integrating advanced transistors into high-precision current supplies, ensuring robust performance under extreme conditions, and improving electromagnetic compatibility.
Over the course of my career, I have contributed to various research projects, co-authored peer-reviewed publications, and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers and doctoral candidates. My passion for innovation drives me to explore emerging technologies and mentor others in the field. In particular, I have developed multicell converters up to 20 kW with an optimal efficiency of 98.5% and implemented intelligent control strategies utilizing both FPGA and microcontroller platforms.
Beyond technical expertise, I value effective communication and teamwork, believing these are key factors for achieving sustainable results. My experience spans every project phase, from needs assessment and circuit design to final testing and thorough documentation. By leveraging software tools such as Altium Designer, LTSpice, and PLECS, I consistently deliver high-quality outcomes that meet demanding industry standards.
I am also available for consulting activities, eager to share my insights and collaborate with organizations seeking to innovate in power electronics or address complex technical challenges.
