Yan Zhou

Yan Zhou was born in Wuhan, China, in 1991. He received the B. Eng. and M. Sc. degrees in mechatronics from Fachhochschule Nordhessen,
Bad Sooden-Allendorf, and Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), Erlangen, Germany in 2017 and 2020, respectively. From 2018 to 2020, he was with Siemens Mobility as a working student. Since 2021, he has been with the Institute of Power Electronics at FAU and is currently working toward his doctoral degree. His research interests include soft-switching techniques, multilevel topologies, and novel current measurement methods.
