Mohamed Y. Metwly (GS’21) received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Alexandria University, Alexandria, Egypt, in 2018, and the M.Sc. from the department of Electrical Engineering, Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), Alexandria, Egypt, in 2022. He is currently a Ph.D. student and research assistant in Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Tennessee, USA. His current research interests include machine design, battery chargers, inverter fault diagnosis, and multi-objective optimization.
