Davide Giacomini (he/him/his)

Davide Giacomini is Marketing & Application Director at Infineon Technologies, leading the Power ICs group, responsible for new product definition and promotion, with focus on High Power Solid State and Switching applications for the industrial and Automotive markets.
Davide has over 29 years’ experience in the design and application of High Voltage Integrated circuits for Power Supplies, Motor Drives systems and Solid-State devices, he achieved his M.S.degree with a thesis on High Power Multi Resonant Converters and he has been working on Power
Electronics subjects for his entire career, starting from IC design and then moving to application and technical marketing later on.
His main interests include AC/DC and DC/DC converters in Industrial and Automotive environments, Solid State Relays and Circuit Breakers, traction and auxiliary inverters for hybrid and full electric vehicles,
Davide is an Active member of the Semiconductor and Transportation Electronics Committees of PSMA; Track and Session chairman at APEC conference since many years, ITEC conference contributor, author of several paper presented at APEC, PCIM, ITEC and PSW conferences.
Davide holds 11 patents in the HVIC and power electronics system fields and is a Senior Member of the IEEE organization.
