KU Leuven
Mohamed Yasko is currently conducting his PhD research at the Power Electronics Team of the ELECTA research Group at KU Leuven and EnergyVille research center. Prior to joining KU Leuven, he obtained a research Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Kocaeli University. He is working on an interdisciplinary project investigating optimal concepts for EV smart charging, including local energy production and storage systems. He was recently at the University of Nottingham in the PEMC group for a short research stay. His main research interests are in electrical energy systems with particular emphasis on EV charging systems architectures, stationary battery integration and higher power charging systems.
