Frank Puhane studied electrical engineering with a focus on communications engineering and is currently Head of Product Management for Capacitors & Resistors at Würth Elektronik eiSos GmbH & Co. KG.
He has been a regular presenter/ speaker at international and local symposiums including, Symposium of EMC at Seibersdorf Laboratories, and several IEEE-APEC conferences and trade shows. His technical expertise on capacitors and resistors has been shared at international conferences via application oriented publications and presentations. Few examples of topics are Energy Storage Capabilities of Supercapacitors in a High Power Application and High Power Converter 100 W Buck-Boost in Detail – Selection of the Capacitors.
He studied at the semiconductor company Atmel Germany GmbH in Heilbronn. He then worked for three years as a development engineer for customer-specific controls for the medium-sized company Jung Electronic in Kirchhausen. Since 2013, he has been working for Würth Elektronik eiSos GmbH & Co. KG, initially for three years as a field application engineer, after this he moved to the area of capacitors and resistors, where he headed the Technical Engineering department for several years. Since 2022, he is Head of Product Management for Capacitors & Resistors.
