David Chen (he/him/his)

Power Integrations

Mr. David Chen serves as Sr. Director of Applications Engineering for Power Integrations, which he joined in 2015, and is currently the Vice President of the Power Sources Manufacturers Association (PSMA). With over thirty years of experience in power system design and applications, David has held senior management positions at both publicly traded and privately held companies, including Volterra (acquired by Maxim), Akros Silicon, and Jade Sky Technologies, an LED driver start-up he co-founded. As an energy efficiency champion, David collaborates with standards organizations and regulatory bodies worldwide. David received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering both from MIT and is the author of two patents.
