ABIRAMI KALATHY received her B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, India, in 2015, and her M.A.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada, in 2021. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Queen’s University, Canada. Her research interests include motor drives, renewable energy systems, resonant power conversion,
and nonlinear control of power electronic converters. From 2022 to 2024, she worked as a Power Electronics Engineer at Sparq Systems Inc., Kingston, where she made significant contributions to the development of off-grid operations and motor drive applications using solar microinverters.
