José Andrés Aguilar Croston is a panamanian PhD candidate at SuperGrid Institute and Ampère Laboratory, where he began his doctoral studies in 2024. He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from INSA Lyon, conferred in 2024, and a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, obtained in 2023. His research specializes in the study and development of high-voltage DC-DC converters, with a particular focus on power converters for medium-voltage DC (MVDC) networks and the practical implementation of high-power DC-DC conversion technologies.
