Indian Institute of Technology Bombay
I am a research scholar pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai, specializing in power electronics. My research focuses on wide bandgap device-based power converters, with applications in medium voltage inverters, high-power DC-DC converters, and grid integration of renewable energy systems. I am particularly interested in leveraging SiC and GaN technologies to develop high-efficiency, high-power conversion systems for next-generation energy applications.
My work involves designing and optimizing medium voltage inverters for direct grid connection, ensuring reliable and efficient operation in renewable energy and industrial applications. I am also actively researching high-power DC-DC converters, addressing challenges related to high-frequency operation. Additionally, I have expertise in PCB design for high-voltage power converters with creepage and clearance optimization, and minimizing parasitic effects in high-frequency designs.
I have been recognized for my contributions to power electronics research, winning the Best Paper Award at INTELEC 2024 and the "Innovative Concept Award" at IFEC 2023. These achievements highlight my commitment to developing cutting-edge solutions in energy conversion and grid integration.
As part of my research, I lead multiple projects to develop advanced converter topologies, modulation techniques, and control strategies. Through my work, I aim to push the boundaries of wide bandgap-based power electronics, contributing to the development of more efficient, compact, and robust power conversion systems that support the transition to a cleaner and more sustainable energy future.
