Takanori Isobe (he/him/his)

Takanori Isobe was born in Hamamatsu, Japan, in 1978. He received the B.Eng. degree in physical electronics, the M.Eng. degree in nuclear engineering, and the D.Eng. degree in energy sciences from theTokyo Institute ofTechnology,Tokyo, Japan, in 2003, 2005, and 2008, respectively. From 2008 to 2010 and from 2012 to 2013, he was a Researcher with the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan, where he was an Assistant Professor from 2010 to 2012. From 2013 to 2014, he was with MERSTech, Tokyo. In 2013, he joined the University of Tsukuba, Tsukuba, Japan, where he is currently an Associate Professor with the Faculty of Pure and Applied Sciences. His research interests include static reactive power compensators and soft-switching power converters.
