This paper presents modeling and performance characterization analysis for lithium-ion capacitor (LiC) at different voltage and temperature values. The presented analysis includes electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), an equivalent circuit model (ECM), and DC performance in terms of equivalent series resistance (ESR) and discharge capacity. Performance characterization at different temperature and voltage values helps in understanding the behavior and ā€ˇperformance of LiC, setting operation limits, design, and achieving LiC cell ā€ˇmanagement functions.
